Sustainability must be a key feature for a blockchain to be considered a secure platform for business in today’s global marketplace. As an eco-friendly decentralized ledger technology (DLT), Lynx strives to be a leader. Lynx is a decentralized blockchain that prioritizes environmental sustainability and ease of use for the everyday, non-technical user.

Unlike Bitcoin, which promotes a consolidated, competitive, inefficient, and profit-driven mining strategy that heavily relies on fossil fuels, Lynx takes a different path. The Lynx code discourages using high-volume mining rigs by deliberately lacking incentives for profitable mining. Instead, the entire Lynx network operates through a collaboration of low-power devices accessible to anyone, resulting in a collective global mining cost of just a few dollars a day. This approach makes mining LYNX more user-friendly and eco-friendly than other blockchain projects with unsustainable energy demands. Moreover, the abundance of coins yet to be mined ensures the sustainability of the Lynx network for future generations.
